A great spot for coffee and tea, to-stay or to-go. An Nhiên specializes in the popular peach iced tea (trà đào đá). Customers can enjoy people-watching and traffic-watching on the busy Võ Văn Kiệt Street. Even better- they sell delicious homemade ice cream.

Cafe Trầm has an impressive menu of drinks, food, and desserts, all delicious. This cafe makes the top 10 list for its quality food & drink selection, but mostly for its ambiance. Customers are transported to a peaceful jungle-like treehouse setting, completely separated from the busy HCMC traffic.

Tucked away in Thảo Điền, Cafe Trịnh is a garden cafe with mostly local clientele. This cafe wins a "best-of" title thanks to its homecooked Vietnamese food, quality coffee and drinks, and the peacefully zen ambiance.

HCMC visitors and residents all know Cục Gạch Quán as a "must-try" restaurant, both for the food and for the architecturally interesting interior. But the secret - Cục Gạch Quán also owns Cục Gạch Cafe, a more casual "cafe" spot, perfect for sipping, relaxing, reading, and/or working.

Dolphy's sells some of the best Vietnamese coffee in HCMC, and the fresh squeezed juices and the smoothies are simple and delicious. Bar-like outdoor seating is fun for people/traffic-watching on Thảo Điền Street, and the indoor area is convenient for the extra hot days, or for those who need a proper table for working. The staff is friendly and delivers excellent customer service.

The Fig is another lovely garden cafe - complete with tasty food and drink options, quality coffee, and a relaxing, zen ambiance. This cafe stands out for its variety of seating options, and the especially creative and delicious teas & desserts.

Khanh Casa serves a variety of drink and food options. The coffee, tea (both Vietnamese and international), and smoothie selections are all tasty and presented artistically. Go for the drinks, as the food is good, though not great. This cafe stands out thanks to its rooftop seating area - with cozy bench/gazebo seating, and an excellent view of Le Loi Street.

Great for lunch, brunch, and dinner (Vietnamese-Mediterranean fare), and the coffee and drink options are delicious and diverse. Kokoïs has an indoor room with air conditioning, and the main room has an outdoor garden feel even though it's mostly enclosed. Added bonus - Kokoïs sells local handicrafts, health & beauty products, and baked goods.

With three locations around HCMC, Kujuz is a quiet quan ca phe with a fun, creative atmosphere, thanks to their signature design element - walls made of colorful window frames and shutters of all shapes and types. Vietnomnomnom's favorite Kujuz is the one located in 3A Station, as its nestled in the artistic alleyways, surrounded with street art and copious photographers and photoshoots. Kujuz serves a Vietnamese menu with coffees, drinks, and light food options.

Tucked away in a large building on Nguyen Hue Street, the Maker has two shops - one for selling Vietnamese handmade merchandise, and the other as a cafe and shop combination. The cafe makes the Vietnomnomnom list for its peaceful ambiance and outdoor terrace (all equipped with beautifully Saigon-tiled furniture), and its creative drink selection, including coffee and espresso options, and also unique smoothies and juices. This cafe is a great spot to do some work individually or as a group. We also salute the Maker for its commitment to helping Saigon artists and crafters succeed in their respective businesses.

Shin Coffee is a multi-level modern coffee shop, similar in style to the Workshop. This cafe offers a variety of high-qulity, single-origin coffee, as well as a full espresso bar and a nice selection of smoothies and desserts. Shin is another great atmosphere for working or for meeting a friend for coffee, and the service is exceptional. This business also sells coffee beans and grinds - great for home or for gifts.

Thao Dien Coffee is a little oasis in District 2, serving a substantial menu of drinks and food. Menu includes coffee (all types), juices, smoothies, beer, wine, soups/salads, sandwiches/tartines, main dishes, a kids menu, and dessert. And added bonus - the food menu is varied and delicious (nothing outstanding, but certainly high-quality and tasty).

Walking Distance is a tiny little cafe on Xuan Thuy in Thao DIen. Though perhaps too small for large groups or families, it's the perfect ambiance to do some work or to meet a friend for coffee. The menu includes coffees, juices, homemade desserts & ice cream - all delicious. Vietnomnomnom highly recommends the Banoffee Pie and any of the ice creams. The cafe has had some issues with maintaining steady electricity, so be sure to have them check the ice cream before you order it. Special bonus - pet friendly!

Though the Workshop is not a traditional Saigon-style "quán cà phê" (cafe), this establishment makes the Vietnomnomnom Best Of list for its incredible coffee selection, modern and relaxed atmosphere, and its food selection. Customers can choose from a variety of coffee brew methods: pour over, immersion, and espresso, and the food includes all-day breakfast, a wide range of Western bistro-style dishes, and desserts - all high-quality and delicious.  This is a great place to do some work or to meet a friend for coffee.
